yungerman, I’m sorry, but my class didn’t really get into specific rare or unique paintings, but rather it was mostly a history of art technique, art movements, and general art appreciation. So I can’t really answer those questions. But my guess would be that those paintings were important in representing their movement, or unique in their exclusivity.
It must have been an amazing experience going to those fine art galleries. I would love to go sometime.
