A family friend of ours is a lawyer. There was once a case where a truck carrying heimish candy was an accident and the merchandise on the truck was destroyed. The heimish candy company wanted to sue the trucking company for the heimish price of the candy where as the truckign company only wanted to reimburse for the regular price of the candy. Our family friend was the lawyer for the trucking company. The end result of the case was that the heimish company was not able to prove that they had added value to candy and they lost the case.
