🙁 when I heard what happened, I was in my office in Moscow and not fully aware of the extent of the tragedy as the initial reports were so sketchy it sounded like a private plane had crashed and little damage was done. When I could not access US internet sites I knew something was very wrong so I tried to get information.
I called friends of mine who were at home and had the TV on and the first thing I was told in a voice expressing complete disgust was: “I saw how in Palestine they are dancing!” (this was Russian TV and they referred to Gaza as Palestine).
