I can till remember a substitute teacher I had in grade school who actually tackled this topic with a mashal, which he proceeded to demonstrate:

Imagine there’s a counterfeit $20 bill standing alone.

Now imagine there’s a counterfeit $20 bill among many real bills.

Which one will be spotted quicker and rejected?
