You are correct with regards to the sheimos(The Shlah Hakadosh).Your question is good but it is on the gemara in Shanhadrin(59b).The Gemara brings a story with Reb Shimon ben Chalafta where there were lions and two slabs of meat came from shamyim and one he took to the bais medriash.He asked is it a treifh or kosher,they answered ain tameh min hashamyim.(ayin shum)
