i second onegoal’s post – you MUST let us know when you come to chicago!
as a born and bred new yorker, i always thought of other places as oot and of course “how could there be frum communities elsewhere?” when i got engaged and told my boss that i would probably be moving to chicago, she said “what?! you’re gonna live in a hick town like that?” little did she know!
btw – there are so many new yorkers who now live here, it’s almost a second new york. anyway, i’m still a new yorker at heart – you know the saying “you can take the girl out of ny but you can’t take ny out of the girl”
