Go to seforimonline.org and look for the sefer “mikveh yisroel” by R’ Menashe ben Israel about 350-400 years ago written at the height of the exploration of the “new world” where he addresses the claim that some Inca Indians found in Peru are from the “lost tribes”. Is a fascinating read.
