600 Kilo Bear- While you do have some valid points, lets be honest.

1. If millions are willing to pay the price then it shouldnt be called overpriced.
2.Gimmicky? What does that mean? My mac works great without any gimmicks or updates every two days.
3. Gimmicky? There are way fewer viruses, trojans, malware, spyware etc. on a Mac than a PC.
“Everything Apple comes out with is quickly superseded with better and more economical alternatives from elsewhere.”
3. “Everything”?? Not even close. Ask anyone that has had a PC and a Mac and they will agree that the Mac is head and shoulders above the rest.
4. More economical alternatives- True, but inferior quality. A sweater from Old Navy is also an alternative to a sweater from Banana Republic, but the quality is inferior.

5. What?? He was the brains behind everything!

6. One real opportunity? What are you talking about? You are totally ignoring every Apple product he created- Mac, IPod, Iphone, IPad etc
7. Did you know that Jobs is the one who rescued Apple from almost bankruptcy with his innovations? Think 10 years back, few people had any Apple product. Now, who doesnt have at least an IPod?
