I went on a one-way ticket with a European airline, and when it came up in random conversation at the counter that it was a one-way ticket, they just said that’s usually not allowed for a non-citizen. But nothing else happened. I also went on the return flight to Israel from a round trip El Al ticket, and nobody said anything about me not being a citizen.
