The coordinator of Flatbush Hatzolah, A”H was once driving when he saw a Hatzolah car driving with lights and sirens to cross a red light. He knew that there was no call at this time, and HE pulled the van over. I believe it was the kid or wife of the member and suffice it to say it never happened again.
