Very interesting posts. I can only say that where I am, the so-called “Modern Orthodox” shul follows everything from A-Z of the yeshiva community and the BMG. Those attending the shul include the very yeshivish, thank heaven, to “self-styled yidden”. “Policy-wise”, it is yeshivish. I am gathering there are “MO” shuls ruling and establishing things that are not coming down from the yeshiva community. That is a shame if that is the case.
