At first I was blocked without an explanation and figured it was a computer error, since they had absolutely no content-related reason to believe I was him. After trying to email and being ignored I created the RuffRuff account. Then, that was blocked along with a subtitle of “Joseph again”.
At that point I realized what the issue must be. I used OperaMini on my phone as my browser. This app tries to save data cost by rerouting every request to their server and downsizing the response. YeshivaWorld gets the IP of Opera instead of mine. Anyone using the same app would appear to be coming from the same IP.
Therefore, I emailed and posted this fact, which got deleted, and another member posted that they know me personally, and contacted the mods as well. After a little while they figured it out, either on their own or through my advice. They never told me which.
But like I wrote earlier, Joseph seems to get special treatment. So, if your comments don’t get chopped up and manipulated, they don’t really think you are he.
