We just started a new organization called ALS Family Relief Fund. This if for families of people suffering with Lou Gherig’s (ALS) Disease. While most other charities give money for research for ALS, this fund is for the use of the families directly for such things as household help, tuition, tutors, counseling, mortgage,regular things families need which the breadwinner or mother can no longer provide. Contributions to ALS Family Relief Fund are tax deductible. Contributions can also be made by credit card by calling directly to 347-690-5414 and following the prompt. This was started by the family of a young fellow with 8 children aged 3-18 who can no longer move a limb, speak or eat. The money is also shared with other families who are in similar straits.
