smartcookie, In my humblekite I would assume that this issue is NOT AT ALL BORING to the party wronged, not at all! I assume (s)he is BURNING with a mixture of bad, sad, extremely horrible feelings. Possibly suffering physically too!
For the record, I’d like to point out, at one time the administration here blocked repeatedly one fine poster on suspicion he was The Fish. Notices and emails to counter that went unanswered. It was only after the incessant ‘badgering’ of his acquaintance IRL testifying on his behalf, did they relent. So, again, Mods can be wrong. There are many. One or two don’t spoil the whole, they may give a bad taste though.
I’m just wondering, not too long ago there was one fine poster who literally spilled her life out to us here. No commotion. Then she once made a direct reference to her identity. No problem. I happened to have her email, I pointed this out, and she had it removed. So, I’m just wondering what changed. WHY SO MUCH HYPE? Careful – yes, but all this paranoia?
This AYC was attacked, in my humblekite, just for doubting Mods (and Jothar who..). Is that right? They know (s)he’s not ‘The Fish’. What’s their point. Do they REALLY think (s)he’s dangerous? Prying? Trolling? Does the phrase “it’s a known tactic that predators use..” (I think I saw that 3 times in reference to AYC) make their claim more convincing?
