Personally, I’m makpid, and follow both bais hillel and bais shammai. Thus, I had 9 tonight, (1 before supper and 8 after) I’ll have nine tomorrow night (2 before and 7 after) and so on until the end of Chanuka. Then, I have all the leftovers on the ninth night and go on a diet until Purim.
