I am sure there is a closer minyan than Ave J mens shoes. there are a ton of shuls in the neighborhood. There is a shul on Bedford, i think bt. I and J, there is a shul on the corner of j and 28th, J and 29th, and two on J bt 29th and Nostrand. I think there is one on J and Bedford. there are many more. there are also a few yeshivos in the neighborhood, such as Veretsky, Boston, and Rabbi Avigdor Miller’s zatza”l.
