They get rejected because the parents refuse to understand that the school they applied to is not for their child. Just because the parents thing do doesn’t make it so. The Yeshiva understands that if the parent CHOOSES not to listen to halacha (by not covering the hair properly, ect), and does so in a blatant way, then, yes, the child will learn that yiddishkit is something to learn, but has little to do in real life practice.
