you might have never heard the name menachem yechiel but he is the head of customs and seizures in Israel. he also happens to be my cousin. i shot him an email asking him about this–his reply was that theres a certain customs official (whom of couse he cant release the name) but is known to be a true sonei yisroel. he checked the case and its the same official in what seems like this exact stroller case. the date of the post and the numbers are the same. so to all those who think all frum people are tax evaders i beg to differ. menachem yechiel also mentioned that theres a certain guy (seems to be this guys brother) who is giving customs a real roller coaster ride bringing in laws and different cases of seizures and returns proving his innoccence. and to end off his final comment to me was that his assistant called this guy and the conversation went as follows “hi is this _____, im calling from the dept of customs and seizures and ive noticed youve been escalating your case and i just want to know when your going to back down and understand it was a mistake” this persons response was a blunt “when there is a law made heavily punishing any government worker who takes advantage of his position” he abrubptly hung up.
and no this is not spewing this is getting a point across
