Nope. Actually contrary to popular belief Michlalah is not more of a college. Girls who yearn to genuinely grow, learn, and develop into productive and capable young women attend Michlalah. These are girls who eventually become caring and devoted jewish mothers and wives who serve an integral purpose here on earth and make a valuable contribution towards Klal Yisrael. Michlalah has an unbelievably caring staff who give of themselves and constantly cater to their students and each girl’s every need. They are always on call and willing to help and give advice. Though Michlalah does have a large student body, the staff knows of each student, not only by name but by personality and as an individual. They really care. There are many chashuv learned rabanim who teach there and who are apart of their faculty. In addition their are multiple amazing women who give their heart and souls through lectures, classes, and personal attention. Michlalah is a great place and how unfortunate it is that ignorance leads to the misconception of the holiness and amazingness of the intense makom torah that it truly is. Michlalah teaches so much torah and is an extremely respectable place. I, a bais yaakov girl, gained so much from my seminary experience and owe michlalah tons of hakaras hatov. I am not advocating for all to attend Michlalah, for it is obviously not for everyone, but just appreciate the kind of place that it is because it is really one of a kind. Torah is their priority and believe me they know and give so much of it.
