oomis1105 -“The “new attitude” is not the problem. Women who want to marry other women (and men who want to be with men) are who they are, irrespective of women’s lib and “new attitudes.” You could not be implying there were no gay people 3,000 years ago – because apparently Hashem thought it potentially was enough of a problem, to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, and to give us halachos against these practices.”
While you are correct that this isn’t a new problem in the world, you are very much mistaken about this being an old problem in the Western world. Not that long ago these people holed up in a closet. If you care about this country turning into a S’dom – you’d understand what my point is. The fact of this militant feminism has caused lots of people to go to this way of life. I know s/o (lady) who was Frum and was first exposed to Feminism – as a course requirement in a liberal run college. This was her first exposure to militant feminism and her subsequent decline to becoming a Toevanik and abandoning her Frumkeit.
This isn’t the only case. So if s/o cares not just about how Goyim are rebeling against Hashem, but how they are influencing people from the Frum community to follow their sick ways, they would be as adament against Militant Feminism as I am! Since I believe this is the root cause of the Toieava movement here in the US, not that it was the cause anywhere else like in S’dom!
