To quote Charlie Brown:
The problem is that in reality some parents need help dealing with that knowledge and don’t have the sense to get that help for their kids sake and they wind up harming their kids by reacting the wrong way.
How terribly, unfortunately true. The interactions that I have witnessed between parents and their children who are not living their lifestyle is tragic, more tragic than what the children are doing. The parents are the ones who are doing the most destruction. As long as there is that connection and belief in the child’s ability, there is hope.
I was one of “those kids,” not too long ago and I can show you too many who were destroyed by their own parents. It’s so sad.
