I agree that most girls don’t need to learn all the meforshim, but now that I’m no longer in school and would like to learn some navi on my own, I’m grateful I’m able to open a navi to whatever perek I want and learn it as in depth as I choose to. Chumash and navi were my favorite subjects in school, so it wasn’t hard for me, but what works for one girl doesn’t work for the next one. Schools need to recognize that.
