You are only complaining because it is the Siyum. If it were a rock and roll concert or a sporting event, you would not have an issue.
These are the general charges by the box office.
If a concert producer was charging such a high handling charge and was providing the same level of service the complaints would be there.
$8 is definately too high for a service that sells seats without the ability to know beforehand what section thay are in and provides no indication or choice of how or when the tickets will be shipped (or if the order is even being processed).
