Sugar is a poison bad for the nervous system, digestive system and more. Stevia is permitted according to the Alkaline Diet. The whole quality of ones health can change switching gradually from Acidic to Alkaline. Google Alkaline/Acidic Food Chart (I did so can you) to see the difference between Acidic and Alkaline.
