I honestly don’t get what the big deal is about texting. I’ve been texting since I got a phone and haven’t stopped and I text a TON! and haven’t gotten into any trouble. A few texts I got from weird random numbers I ignore! What’s so complicated? I haven’t texted any guys-only friends and family…I don’t understand why texting is assur according to some people. If you say you can get into trouble with it, fine. But you can also do a lot for torah with it! I know of a rav who texts about torah all the time. Everything can be used for good or for bad…you just have to know how to use it!
