Avi: Give it a rest. Even if you hold it’s fulfilling a Mitzvah there would still be no Kedusha in the state. That’s not what Kedusha means. And denying that there are those secular Israelis who want to see the end of Frumkeit (or at least serious Torah learning and Shabbos and stuff; I don’t think they care if we shake a Lulav or not) is just denying reality. Just like thinking that every secular Israeli wants that is plain not true.
