We look at the totality of whats involved we dont break it up and say well that part was a kiddush Hashem and that part wasn’t and therefore as a whole it was not a Kiddush Hashem. Kiddush Hashem is not defined by how the non Jews treat us. Kiddush Hashem is living the way Hashem wants us to live al pi Torah.
