Has it been so long since they sold the London Bridge (yes that really happened, Brooklyn Bridge TBD) that British consider the current London Bridge to be “the” London Bridge? Some of us still remember when it was replaced.
And a gift to the US? Ha. When have the British ever given us Yanks a gift? The only one I know of is a bust of Sir W. C., and that has been returned.
