Perhaps a friend of Lipa’s can clue us in on why Lipa seems to be leaning towards more secular type videos, from what I saw in the clip.
Could be that they made a business decision to increase the fan base, and thought that they would be attracting more listeners and customers, so losing the old ones who were saddened by the loss of the heimish flavor, etc would not affect them badly, financially.
They had to have realized that this Chanukah video is very different in flavor than his others. Its not the same Lipa.
Sad that the frumme oilem made Lipa the success that he became.
I cant see more secular type people becoming fans of Lipa. Who knows though.
