i know this sounds quite like nonsense, but in my circles, where it’s common for someone to get engaged after only three or four meetings, until very recently (more recently than in other circles), there was a much lower percentage of divorces/broken engagements. i think that the increase is actually due to increasingly immature people and the influence leaking into our insular commmunities.
