Reply To: Tax Increase

My friend gets paid mainly off the books and is threfore eligible medicare. She said if she would be on the books and not eligible, she might as well not work bec she would never be able to afford insurance. How do you make sense of that? She would rather not work? Is govt paid health care proventing pple from working at decent paying jobs?
