Lakewhut, what you are saying is outrageuos! Many countries had and many still do have a draft. They draft people to defend the country. And they do not ask them if they want to be drafted. Hitler would have conquered the world if the USSR and the US had not had drafts.
Secondly, US has a very large population no enemy armies on the borders. And only a tiny % of Americans serve. In Israel, all of the above does not aplly.
