No, it’s disgusting to blow s/o off. The only Limud Zecus for these Docs is that the socialized medicine in Israel is paying them so little for diseases like IBS that they basically are forced to blow people off. They should have referred you to mental health.
B’H still in the US, where socialism is NOT YET running our med system, Gastros treat IBS. They give different meds for it depending on the type. They also are giving TCA’s, which IMHO is better for shrinks to prescribe than Gastros, because they know these drugs better.
