What about the 1 continent model? Patagonia doesn’t work, either.
mepal, your statement is incorrect because we the words “ounce” and “pound” mean different things when measuring gold and feathers. Feathers would be measured using the standard weights that we are familiar with (standard ounces, 16 oz to a lb). Gold would be measured in troy ounces, which are heavier than standard ounces. There are 12 troy ounces in a pound of gold.
An ounce of gold weighs more than an ounce of feathers.
A pound of gold weighs less than a pound of feathers.
