Shein, if there is a meter on another block nearby such as on most avenues in Brooklyn, you have to go to another meter and get a ticket there. In the case where both meters had to reset, they both said wait a minute or something to that effect. I was afraid that I would leave, they would reset and I would get a ticket. They did finally reset so the possibility was real that a meter maid would come around a few minutes later and I would have gotten a ticket with no way to prove they were out of order a few minutes earlier. I called 311 at the time and they told me that i had to wait.
