lol, Sketchbook and Photoshop are my programs of choice! I generally use Sketchbook for sketches or simpler drawing with cell shading, and Photoshop for mor painterly stuff. I’ve also heard people speak highly of OpenCanvas and Corel Painter, but I didn’t like OpenCanvas that much. I still wanna try Painter, but maybe when I’m really bored…
Yeah, those Cintiqs are pretty nifty-looking…I prefer my Create, though. It’s a higher end Bamboo, so it’s got the tablet surface area, while still being light and portable. Also, in terms of the Intuoses, I feel that all the added features they offer – lots of ExpressKeys, touch capabilities – are not really necessary for me. And while there is a difference in sensitivity levels, it’s also not so important to me – so it sense half an inch above the tablet surface as opposed to only a quarter? I dunno, I think a quarter is pretty good…
