Mochelli: I wonder if you are a troll.
Ms Critique: Both are excellent for people coming from Chassidish homes, but people not from the Chassidish community will feel less comfortable.
Gan Yisrael’s elementary school gives the children a lot of freedom to express themselves, and is less structured than other schools. Some children suffer from this, but others thrive from the lack of pressure. I personally would not send a child there without thoroughly checking that I was comfortable with the way the classroom was run.
Bais Bracha is a good heimish school, which is slightly more academic than other chassidish schools. It has a solid reputation.
Bais Yaakov of Boro Park elementary school is a wonderful school and the best one in Brooklyn in my opinion. They are the only school with a guidance counselor, a nurse, social workers, and staffed resource room. It is the biggest frum elementary school in Brooklyn and many people send at least one of their children there, if they are having difficulty in another school, since they have more resources. The principals are very involved and it is easy to get the help you need. They are also slightly more open minded than other Brooklyn schools.
