I am curious as to what type of place one would be in for a Shabbos, that would have activated motion sensors functioning on Shabbos? Surely no Shul would, most homes would not, and kosher hotels SHOULD not.
My non-Jewish neighbors have a light sensor at night that is triggered by motion, so my husband and son walk in the street rather than on the sidewalk, which prevents it from being set off.
