I’m not saying that engagements should be broken without good reason and in the most mentchlich but I still think some are making it sound much worse than it is. And comparing it to divorce.. I know someone who had both nisyones in their family and said that the broken engagement was a breeze compared to the anguish that the divorced family member suffered.
