“Does anyone know how to make skverrer tzibilis kugel? I had it once and it’s mean.”
I had a geust this shabbos and before shabbos we asked him what special shabbos food he likes, he said “tzvibel kugal” (neighter he nor I are Square). so for the first time we made onion kugal, it was deli.
here is the recipy;
dough: 3 cups flour, 3/4 cup water, 3/4 cup oil, 3/4 tsp. salt
filing: 3 lg. onions, 1 egg, 2 Tbsp. oil for frying.
Fry the oniong until golden, cool mix in the egg. Knead the dough, divide in two part, roll each part to 1/4 in. thickness spread the onions, roll in jellyroll fasion, brush with egg & sprinkle seasem seeds back on 350 for 45 minutes.
