jewishness: look, if you live in NJ and decide to vote for Lonegan over Booker, let it be because he might vote for things you don’t like, not because he didn’t get married. It’s not even as though he’s Jewish and has a chiyuv to get married that he’s avoiding- it’s completely his decision. HE ISN’T JEWISH- he doesn’t have to live in accordance with a Jewish way of life. If he votes the way you want him to vote, which is the entire point of a democratic republic, then his lifestyle has nothing to do with anything. The only way it could make even the slightest shred of difference is if something about his background will deliberately CAUSE him to vote a specific way, in which case still, just focus on the issues not the reasons behind them.
