Allsgr8 – I’ll try and answer you now. Protein can be converted to sugar. I posted this before. This usually occurs during a fasting state, but doesn’t have to. Maybe when you eat chicken -your body digests it slowly and then uses the protein to build other protein. But, when you eat eggs, your body quickly digests it and all of a sudden you have a lot of protein in you -some of the protein is used for your metabolic protein needs and the extra is converted to sugar like I expained in previous posts.
