rebb- cofeefan has a good point. i am a Diabetic and my wife is not, and yet i have two kids who have D. (i only have two kids). but on the other hand its not so common. i know of other diabetics who have many kids and yet none of their kids have D.
when my second child was diagnosed someone asked if my wife has a recessive gene. did any of you hear of such a thing?
