You’re right there to say we just have to TRY but trying means your best and doing your best is all the way. i know it shouldn’t be but at this point… it’s just a tiny little bit to the “hey there, anybody else gonna say “been there done that”?? Please – hands up!”
You know, a person can come up with all ways to try help himself and tell himself, “like you got yourself in, get yourself out,” but even at that point we still need G-d and He’s the One Who will have to get me out of a deep n dark rut of crazily high A1C’s and all that comes with it..
Forever1 and Cofeefan and whoever else understands the weight issue – i’m so glad to hear that, as somebody posted on a much earlier post “misery wants companionship”. Yes Forever1 you say it so well!! I HATE HATE HATE giving insulin! I HATE TO GAIN WEIGHT! i wanna just lose .. and what happens when you don’t take insulin?
Allsgr8, i’m so glad you’re finally getting the pump!! When i was reading through the pages and you were writing how you weren’t getting it i wanted to add my post in between and say, “Hey, hey, hey!! Go for Pumping!!” Lol
I’m on the Animas but once my 5 year guarantee is over (if i still have the pump then 🙁 Pray for me!) i think i would go for a different one. I only know of the Minimed and Animas, i like the sound of Minimed mainly because it has the CGM with it. I don’t find the other advantages so great of it..But like others have said whatever one it is it should just go well and you should be happy on it!
About wearing it – i wear it on my skirt tucked inwards, i make sure you can’t see it with my clothes on. I like it because it’s so convenient and comfortable!
I just had a low today! I can’t even remember the last time i was low .. I think you lot have made it easier for me to at least try somewhat.. Keep it coming!!! Lots of it!!!
