About shabbos…by the time i went into hospital it was practically 18 hours after i had changed my site (with the canula bent) interestingly enough i only threw up about that time, (i think my body must be able to “cope” with being so high for the amount of .. “experience” i’ve given it..) the ketones were above readable, so much so that it took practically 16 hours for it to finally break through to be able to get a reading after i was given insulin again.
It was actually the first time i’ve been in like this – on i.v and overnight – through all the years although i was nearly there plenty times.
Whatever!! Thank G-d i’m OUT OF THERE!! Let’s just try and pray for the good control … and don’t forget to HOPE!! IT CAN GET EASIER!!! (??????????CAN IT??????????)
