Its not a matter if your Rav has a problem, its a matter of wasting the Gedols time.
Maybe your question isnt important, but if 500 people felt the same way and asked the Gadol a similar question when it was easier to ask a local rabbi, the Gadol would have more time for more pressing issues.

If you want a Bracha from a Gadol, Why not send a Kvitel to BMG and ask for a Bracha from Rav Kotler or Rav Newman
