Do you say it? Which version – Chabad or regular?
I say it and enjoy saying it. Can I switch to the Chabad version because it’s shorter if I have a lot to do that night? (like posting on YWNCR for example?)
In my shul we say as part of davening. After shemonah Esrah the Shatz says Kaddish and we say Vihi Noam and then the Shatz says another Kaddish and we say V’yitan L’cha.
As far as i know we say the normal version as it is quite long, although i didnt know of another version.
A woman is not obligated to say it altogether. If you’re too busy you can forgo saying it and the rest of Ma’ariv.
GG Yekke: Someone gifted me a Chitas so I discovered the Chabad version. Since I don’t have to say it anyway, as per WriterReader, can I say the Chabad version?
Torah613Torah: i am not a rabbi, ask your Rabbi
btw whats “Chitas”
GG: Today is Chabad day apparently. Chumash Tehillim Tanya with a Siddur at the end. The sefer you’d want on a desert island.
