A man’s pride will humiliate him, But a humble man will obtain honor. Proverbs 29:23

    NYPost today re Andrew Cuomo:

…an ex-aide. “The guy thinks he’s the toughest, the hardest working, he’s the smartest. The truth is, he’s anything but. He’s the weakest, he’s the dumbest, and he’s the most shallow of them all. He is genuinely a very small man who pretends to be big.”

With all the good things Trump has done, his arrogance destroyed much.

    Reb Eliezer

Gaiva brings one to worship a’z. He believes that Hashemi is not being mashgiach on us because of His
greatness, so he pushes Him out from earth to the heavens by being dochek raglei hashchina. He ends up worshipping the servants as by dor enosh. He believies the master is not around, so it says al ponai, I am everywhere. The Rabbenu Abarbanel explains, lo siso, don’t elevate Hashem falsely.

    Reb Eliezer

If someone is really sure about oneself, does not need to show off. If you are there, you don’t need to shout. It comes from an inferiority complex. If he does show off, he shows there is nothing there.

Just think if we could do a genetic cross between Cuomo and Trump, what the outcome would be? Would certain pose a challenge to the political pundits.

    Thank you
