Chazzanus is not used too much anymore in Orthodox circles, but I would nonetheless like to attend an Orthodox cantorial school.

I would like a program in Israel or America, where I could be instructed in English, in traditional nusach.

The program should lead to a certificate of some sort, which would give me a document attesting to my skills and abilities, and should be focused on nusach, not on leining (this is the problem with the YU Belz School for me- they mandate you take 3 classes in trope).

I was thinking of either JESCAM (David Weintraub) or the school in Petach Tikvah (with Yehezkel Klang).

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

YU has a cantorial school, I believe.

    Iced,

I said above that I am aware of Belz, but they require you to take leining courses, which is not of interest to me. The same is true of TACI.

I am looking for a cantorial course of study leading to a diploma without having to learn leining or trope.
