April 26, 2010 4:59 am at 4:59 am #715594sm29ParticipantJust like we know our mom and dad is there for us, so too, Hashem is always there. And everything He does is for our best, eventhough sometimes it’s hard to see that.
Like a Parent, He has given us so much for our own benefit and wants us to take care of ourselves and others spiritually, physically, emotionally so we can continue to be holy and connect to Him.

“Sure”,his friend replied.”I’ve seen you do it many times.”
“Get on my back,then.”
THAT KIND OF TRUST is Emunah( belief)…that comes with true bitachon(trust).
December 7, 2010 3:24 am at 3:24 am #715597Garden of Emuna has tons!!! you can also check out rabbi lazer brody’s website, http://www.lazerbrody.typepad.com/
also there is a nightly emunah conference at 10:15 est we learn goe and discuss it. 401-694-1602 the pin is 1836. it lasts about five minutes total, and u can call in or hang up whenever u please.
but heres a brief one….an athlete will endure rigorous training and criticism from a tough coach…why?? because he knows that the coach is doing it for his best and ultimately wants him to succeed.
hope you can join our nightly learning!!

December 8, 2010 11:40 pm at 11:40 pm #715599kapustaParticipantI think this came from Garden of Emunah: There are two types of people on a bus. One is constantly watching the driver, making sure hes going the right way, driving safely etc. The other is sitting with his nose in a book, not paying the least bit of attention to the driver. We’re going through this world, and Hashem is driving, we could do our own thing, and not worry, and trust that Hashem knows what Hes doing, and He’ll get us to the right place, or constantly do our own checking. At the end of the ride, both passengers end up where they started out going. One is just a nervous wreck.
